This is the most difficult content for me to create. I’m not one to shout from the roof tops as to what I’m up to or stake a claim that what I have to say is brilliantly insightful. Maybe it’s my British upbringing. Still, enough folks have encouraged me to branch out that I feel compelled to stop standing on the sidelines and dive into the conversation. So, I created this blog as a home for my images and my commentary related to being a father and photographer. These are my passions.

In June 2009, I was laid off from a corporate position in the high-tech public relations field. Yes, it has been a trying yet still rewarding period since then.  During the last few months of 2010 I’ve been putting more attention, and INTENTION, toward my passion for photography, specifically family portraiture, kids, and weddings with future plans to add high school senior portraits.

Perhaps more importantly, this transitional period has afforded me the opportunity to dedicate a significant amount of time paying attention to my family of two young boys and lovely wife. The time has also allowed me to discover a vibrant online conversation regarding fatherhood and is a topic which I’d like to make contribution.

Consequently, this blog aims to blend these areas of interest.  How frequently I will update the blog is still evolving; I would like it to be a couple times per week at least.  Perhaps even more once I get the rhythm of this new endeavor sorted out.

I hope you enjoy what you see and read here. If you’re interested in seeing more of my photography, or learning more about me, here are a few links to other sources.
